How Do I Qualify for Advisory Services?
We offer mentoring for existing social enterprises, non-profits, NGOs, and social sector franchisors and multi-unit franchisees that:
- Serve underdeveloped or low-income populations by offering essential services such as healthcare, safe drinking water, sanitation, clean energy, and education;
- Have a minimum of two locations open;
- Provide entrepreneurship and employment opportunities in underdeveloped markets including concepts that may be developed into micro-franchises; and
- Aspire to expand a tested social enterprise and are considering using franchising to do so.

Your Advisor will guide you through the steps which are the gold standard of success in commercial franchising and how they can be applied to scale your unique social enterprise, including:
- Franchisor and franchisee roles
- Establishing standards for quality and consistency
- Defining territories and franchisee selection

- Training and manual development
- Pricing strategies
- Standardizing your operations and providing operations support to your franchisees

How are Advisor Services Provided?
- After an initial consultation and questionnaire, you will be paired with a qualified franchise professional who will serve as your mentor in monthly hour-long Zoom meetings for six months. You and your Advisor may agree to a different schedule.
- Throughout the program, you will be assigned to watch Explainer Videos that cover important elements of a social franchise.
- Your Advisor will guide you through adapting franchising techniques to your organization, helping you think through the practicalities and benefits of this approach, and mentor you in meeting your goals for integrating franchise methods into your program.
